Rules
Today: 150.2
I have been trying to lose weight for over a month now. And I haven't lost any. I have bounced around from 152-148, but it has settled around the 149-150. This has been frustrating because I am trying to make a lot of positive changes and there is no question I am eating less.
- I am exercising almost daily
- I have a routine sleep schedule
- I am staying hydrated
- I am skipping breakfast
- I am eating my yogurt/oats dish again
- I am either having no snack or not snacking after dinner
- I am having 1 purposeful snack
- And when I am hungry I am eating healthy snacks
- I have mostly cut out candy
On the positive side:
- I am feeling better
- I have more energy
- I can feel my muscles starting to tone
- I have had 3 major heavy eating events (weekend feasts with my nephews, wedding anniversary and girls over for tea) and not gained weight
I am committed to losing the weight long term as I see it only coming on as a response to the high stress of my last job.
So I thought I would start this journal to check in and follow the process and layout some ground rules. One's I want to initiate today:
- No caffeine unless - I am super hungry or super tired. I have increased energy and so I see this as very doable.
- Have my fiber at 11:30 every day. I find it takes 30-45 minutes before I start to feel full. So I will have it at 11:30 and eat at 12.
